Day 01 ARRIVE AT CAPE TOWN
Upon arrival at Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure for short walks to the waterfront.

Day 02 CAPE TOWN – TABLE MOUNTAIN TOUR
City & Table Mountain - Half Day Tours:
The perfect trip to orientate yourself with Cape Town is this half day tour through the city and then taking us all the way up to Table Mountain. Here you take a cable car up Table Mountain giving you breath taking views of the Cape.
Stand on the top of Table Mountain
The itinerary commences with a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting). The state-of-the-art cable car rotates 360º on its way to the top, offering a panoramic view of the city and harbour below. In the city itself, we visit the Company Gardens, the SA Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market, Greenmarket Square. We take a trip through the picturesque streets of Bo-Kaap and the tour comes to an end with our last stop at the V & A Waterfront .

Day 03 CAPE TOWN – WINELANDS TOUR
After breakfast, head into the heart of the world famous wine lands through superb mountain ranges. We visit the vineyards and Cape Dutch farms. This is the perfect way to explore and ‘get merry’.
Discover the beauty and history of the Cape Winelands on this tour. We visit the Afrikaans Taal Monument in Paarl and stop at the Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in February 1990. In the Franschhoek Valley we visit the French Huguenots Memorial and call on many fine wine estates in the gastronomic capital of South Africa. We cross the Helshoogte Pass and descend into historic Stellenbosch for a light lunch (own account) and yet more wine tasting. The great thing about visiting the Winelands is that wine can be drunk no matter the weather. In fact many say the best thing to warm a cold day is a glass of fine red wine!

Day 04 CAPE TOWN – CAPE POINT FULL DAY TOUR
After breakfast start an awe inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are all part of the tour.
Circle the peninsula en route to Cape Point
Explore the beautiful Cape Peninsula with a guide who loves the region, knows his history and won't get lost! First, you visit the stunning Clifton and Camps Bay beaches and head towards Hout Bay with an optional boat trip to Seal Island. Wind over Chapman's Peak Drive, a spectacular scenic route with fynbos-covered mountain on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Visit the beautiful Cape Point Nature Reserve and marvel at the dramatic Cape of Good Hope. On the other side of the peninsula, you stop off at Boulders Beach and its fascinating penguin colony.
After the historic naval village of Simon's Town we break for lunch (not included) and then wind through the gracious Constantia Valley en route to the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, to cap a rather marvelous day out.

Day 05 CAPE TOWN – FREE DAY

Day 06 CAPE TOWN - SWELLENDAM
After breakfast we board our rented vehicle to drive along the famous Garden Route. Next five days we are on our own and we will stop to see all the places of interest that come on the way. Our first stop is at the beautiful little town of Swellendam.
Following days we will stop to see many sites along the way on our own time and schedule. This is a great way to explore this beautiful part of South Africa.

From our opulent accommodation with all the comforts and conveniences of a modern home situated on a ridge above the picturesque town of Knysna. From up here the view is spectacular, stretching out across the shimmering waters of the vast Knysna Lagoon all the way to the famous Knysna Heads and beyond. From our villa we take full advantage of this panoramic vista with wrap-around glass walls and doors leading out onto open and covered decks suspended above an indigenous forest. The Villa’s proximity to town makes it very convenient. Its elevated position on the edge of the ridge ensures privacy and tranquility. We will visit the many sites of this region on our own.
Day 10 GARDEN ROUTE – PORT ELIZABETH
Arrive and transfer to your hotel in Port Elizabeth. Free time to explore on your own. Overnight at your hotel/guesthouse.
Day 11 PORT ELIZABETH – LIVINGSTONE
After breakfast we transfer to the airport for our flight to Livingstone in Zambia. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Tonight we can enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Zambezi River.
Sundowner Cruise - African Queen - Zambia:
We will be met by staff from the cruise boat and driven to the ‘Royal Landing’ jetty on the Zambezi River for boarding. The African Queen meanders slowly upstream along the length of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park looking for game on the way. A number of animals and a host of bird species can be viewed from comfortable chairs on cool wooden decks. Excellent food is served on board and the bar is well stocked with spirits, good wines, beers and soft drinks. In the fading twilight hours it is a great way to explore the beauty of nature. You will be collected at 15:30 in winter and 16:00 in the summer months in time for the cruise (departures at 16:00 in winter and 16:30 in summer). Following this most memorable of experiences, you will be transferred back to your hotel between 18:30 and 19:00 (winter and summer respectively).
Day 12 VICTORIA FALLS
From our hotel we are just a walk to the world famous Victoria Falls. We will spend all day on our own to explore the falls. There are options available to visit the falls from the Botswana side and even to visit Chobe National Park.
Return to your hotel for an evening to relax. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 13 LIVINGSTONE – JOHANNESBURG
Today we head back to Livingstone to take our flight back to South Africa. Our destination is Johannesburg. Arrive and transfer to your hotel.

Full Day Soweto & Apartheid Tour:
Apartheid Museum:
A visit to the apartheid museum will take us back in time during the 70's and 80's, giving us a great understanding of what people were going through. This extraordinary museum has become an important stop for tourist and residents alike. It is appropriate that the first apartheid museum in South Africa should open in Johannesburg, where at the turn of the century there was a convergence of people for a range of different reason. Black people were displaced from the land through colonial wars and the imposition of poll taxes; white farmers were displaced through the Anglo Boer War.
Visit SOWETO
After our trip we return to our hotel for overnight.
Day 15 JOHANNESBURG - DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
