In the mid nineteenth century, on its voyage around the world, the HMS Beagle brought Charles Darwin to the remote Galapagos Archipelago. He was taken aback by the variation and diversity of species on its many islands. This diversity of nature gave significant clues into what we know as the Theory of Evolution. Today the entire Galapagos Archipelago is a National Park. Take a cruise to explore its many islands or join our Island Hopping Adventures and stay on various Islands to discover their unique wonders. Whether it is on land or underwater, Galapagos is home to some of the most unique species on Earth. The Galapagos tortoise (the largest tortoise in the world!), the frigatebird with its inflating red balloon, the blue footed booby and the marine iguanas are only a few wonders of nature you can discover in the Galapagos.
